We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team at The Cockerel, Gussage All Saints. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional hospitality to our guests while crafting a variety of beverages. Your ability to manage time effectively and maintain a welcoming atmosphere will ensure that every customer has an enjoyable experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and taking orders in a friendly manner.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies as needed and keeping track of stock.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills for processing payments.
- Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service standards.
- Ensure all equipment is cleaned and maintained properly, reporting any issues to management promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is preferred.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining excellent service quality.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- A passion for hospitality and providing outstanding customer service.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
