As a vital part of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires a blend of bartending skills, time management, and a passion for the restaurant industry.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, utilising basic maths skills for billing purposes.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and ensure timely service.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as necessary.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality by responding promptly to customer needs and requests for help.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to create a safe environment for both staff and patrons.
Requirements
- Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality sector is preferred.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Ability to work well as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required.
- A passion for the restaurant industry and delivering outstanding customer service.
