Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks to support our operations, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
- Carry out general maintenance and cleaning of work areas.
- Follow instructions from supervisors to complete tasks accurately.
- Operate basic tools and machinery as required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Support skilled tradespeople in their duties as needed.
- Maintain a high level of organisation and cleanliness on-site.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to management promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a labouring role is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 25 kg).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- A valid driving licence is preferred but not mandatory.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as required.
