Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our patrons while maintaining a lively and welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve preparing and serving beverages, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and contributing to the overall guest experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any queries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Assist in managing inventory levels by monitoring stock and reporting shortages as necessary.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when required.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills for processing payments.
- Exhibit strong time management skills to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
Experience
- Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic maths skills are required for handling transactions and managing orders efficiently.
