LOCATIONS: London, Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds and Manchester
HOURS: Full-Time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week or 40% of your time at one of our office sites
About This Opportunity:
The Asset Finance Team is at the forefront of delivering vital cashflow solutions to trading businesses across the UK. As one of the fastest growing products within both Lloyds Banking Group and the wider UK market, this is a truly exciting space to build and grow your career.
We’re now expanding significantly and looking to welcome two new Associate Directors—an incredible opportunity to be part of a high impact team that’s scaling rapidly and shaping the future of asset finance within the Group.
The Role:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as one of our Associate Directors, focusing on the Mid Corporates segment (typically £25m–£100m turnover). This role is ideal for a commercially astute professional with a strong presence in the Mid Corps lending market, capable of identifying and delivering high quality new business opportunities. You’ll work collaboratively to structure and deliver a range of Asset Finance solutions for both new and existing clients, supporting their strategic investment and growth ambitions.
You’ll be an experienced dealmaker with a deep understanding of the Mid Corporates landscape, able to originate, structure, and execute complex transactions while managing key stakeholder relationships across the Group and externally.
What Would You Be Doing?
  • Originating and structuring tailored Asset Finance solutions for Mid Corporate clients (£25m–£100m turnover)
  • Building strong relationships with clients, internal teams and key market introducers to drive high-quality deal flow
  • Leading credit structuring and negotiations to deliver commercially sound, client-focused outcomes
  • Acting as a trusted advisor, using market insight and financial expertise to support clients’ strategic growth
Why Lloyds Banking Group?
Join us and, as well as making a difference to customers, you’ll enjoy a fulfilling career where you’re free to be yourself. Great colleagues, transforming workspaces, hybrid working and a wide variety of career opportunities – you’ll find them all here!
What You’ll Need:
  • Proven experience managing and developing relationships with Mid Corporate clients (£25m–£100m turnover)
  • Excellent financial analysis skills, including interpreting financial statements and cash flow
  • Experience in writing detailed credit reports and presenting to credit committees
  • Strong knowledge of Asset Finance products and structuring complex funding solutions
  • Effective collaboration skills to work within own team and across departments.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with our mid-corporate clients.
About Working For Us:
Our ambition is to be the leading UK business for diversity, equity and inclusion supporting our customers, colleagues and communities and we’re committed to creating an environment in which everyone can thrive, learn and develop.
We were one of the first major organisations to set goals on diversity in senior roles, create a menopause health package, and a dedicated Working with Cancer Initiative.
We offer reasonable workplace adjustments for colleagues with disabilities, including flexibility in office attendance, location and working patterns. As a Disability Confident Leader, we guarantee interviews for a fair and proportionate number of applicants who meet the minimum criteria for the role with a disability, long-term health or neurodivergent condition through the Disability Confident Scheme.
We provide reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process to reduce or remove barriers. Just let us know what you need.
We also offer a wide-ranging benefits package, which includes:
  • A generous pension contribution of up to 15%
  • A discretionary performance share award
  • Share schemes including free shares
  • Benefits you can adapt to your lifestyle, such as discounted shopping
  • 30 days’ holiday, with bank holidays on top
  • A range of wellbeing initiatives and generous parental leave policies
This is a once in a career opportunity to help shape your future as well as ours. Join us and grow with purpose!

With us you'll have a key role to play in shaping the financial services of the future, whilst the scale and reach of our Group means you'll have many opportunities to learn, grow and develop.
We keep your data safe. So, we'll only ever ask you to provide confidential or sensitive information once you have formally been invited along to an interview or accepted a verbal offer to join us which is when we run our background checks. We'll always explain what we need and why, with any request coming from a trusted Lloyds Banking Group person.
