The Role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Surveyor to join our multidisciplinary team. You will assist in all aspects of Quantity Surveying and commercial management on a variety of exciting projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of cost estimates and bills of quantities.
- Support with tender preparation, analysis, and reporting.
- Help to manage project budgets and monitor financial progress.
- Conduct site visits and collaborate with clients, contractors, and consultants.
- Assist with preparing valuations and final accounts.
- Provide Project Management, Monitoring, and Contract Administration support.
- Learn and apply contract procedures and applicable construction law.
- Assist with other areas of surveying.
Requirements
- A degree (or working towards a degree) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- Experience of at least one year in a Quantity Surveying or similar role.
- An eagerness to develop skills in other areas of surveying.
- A driving license and access to a vehicle.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with QS/take off software is a bonus.
- Eagerness to progress towards professional membership (MRICS).

Pay: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
