Environtec are a leading UKAS accredited asbestos management consultancy in the UK with 30 years industry experience. Environtec sets the standards in asbestos compliance. Specialising in the identification, testing and monitoring of asbestos.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to recruit a Trainee Consultant to train in the area of Asbestos in order to progress within the company to a qualified Consultant.
The role and responsibilities:
MUST HAVE A FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE.
- Commitment to train towards a P402 qualification or RSPH
- Commitment to an intensive 6 month training period
- ·Learn how to take asbestos samples (known as bulk sampling)
- Completion of site certification using electronic documents on a tablet
- Interact on site with different contractors
- ·Knowledge of current legislation and guidance documentation
- Assisting surveyors carrying out asbestos surveys.
- ·Operate under our UKAS accreditation
- Be part of one of the largest environmental consultancies in the country
- Commitment to attend courses to attain the necessary qualifications
- Reliable, adaptable person
- A good team player who has a good eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure
