AM Warehouse & Logistics Administrator

Inpost UK
Suffolk, England

Want to be part of a UK hub, in a global business that is scaling rapidly, evolving fast and radically changing the decades-old delivery universe? If so, read on, as we’re looking for an AM Warehouse & Logistics Administrator to join our Ipswich team!

We are delighted to announce that we have acquired Yodel, one of the UK’s largest delivery companies. The acquisition builds on the partnership established between InPost and Yodel in 2024, when Yodel began providing last-mile delivery through InPost’s “locker-to-door” service.

Today we become truly unique as the only delivery partner with a one-stop shop offer - we have the largest out of home delivery network that is now combined with to-door capabilities. Going forward, the acquisition of Yodel brings immediate scale to InPost's operations, expands our service offering, and provides greater convenience to retailers and customers.

About the role:

As an integral part of the InPost team, you will collaborate closely with colleagues to understand and meet the needs of customers and suppliers, ensuring smooth communication and efficient service delivery. You will manage customer enquiries, support procurement activities, and maintain accurate data to facilitate seamless operations.

In addition, you will produce timely weekly and monthly reports, assist with general administration, and handle ad hoc tasks as needed. By investigating and resolving customer queries promptly, you will help uphold InPost’s commitment to excellent customer service and operational success.

This role offers the chance to contribute meaningfully to a dynamic company dedicated to delivering outstanding service and continuous growth.

Location: Baird Close, Hadleigh Industrial Estate, Ipswich, Suffolk, IP2 0UF

Shift Pattern: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday

Hours: 07:00am - 13:30pm

Salary: £19,515.60 per annum

What you’ll be doing:

Collaborate closely with team members to gain a comprehensive understanding of customer and supplier requirements, ensuring all expectations are met and exceeded through proactive communication and partnership.

Serve as a primary point of contact for customer enquiries, delivering prompt, clear, and effective responses that enhance customer satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.

Manage procurement activities efficiently, coordinating with suppliers to source the best products and services while maintaining cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.

Accurately input and maintain critical data within company systems, ensuring integrity and accessibility of information for internal and external stakeholders.

Produce and deliver high-quality, detailed reports on a weekly and monthly basis, providing actionable insights and up-to-date information to support strategic decision-making.

Perform a wide range of general administrative duties with precision and professionalism, contributing to smooth and efficient office operations.

Provide flexible support for various ad hoc administrative projects and tasks, demonstrating adaptability and a proactive approach to team needs.

Investigate customer queries thoroughly and resolve them decisively, maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

What we need from you:

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced expertise in word processing and spreadsheet management to support efficient and accurate documentation.

Dedicated customer service focus, committed to delivering exceptional experiences and building lasting relationships.

Hands-on experience with payroll processes, ensuring timely and precise salary administration.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating information clearly and professionally across diverse audiences.

Proven ability to perform effectively under pressure, maintaining composure and delivering high-quality results in fast-paced environments.

Collaborative team player who thrives in cooperative settings and contributes positively to group objectives.

Sharp problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying challenges and implementing effective solutions.

Outstanding time-management capabilities, adept at prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines without compromising quality.

Skilled at communicating effectively across all organizational levels, fostering clear understanding and engagement.

Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all tasks and deliverables.

The InPost process:

We pride ourselves on our candidate experience. We want to make this as straightforward as possible, for you and for us! We will try our best to get back to you within a few days to let you know if we’d like to take you to the first stage. This normally involves a 20 minute chat with our Talent Team. If we both feel the connection, you’ll then go through another one or two stages, depending on the level of the role.

At InPost, we love uniqueness. Our strength is our people.

We strive to create an open, equal, inclusive environment in which everyone has the opportunity to flourish and be themselves.
