Exciting Opportunity in a brand new After School Club at Kidz Planet!
Are you fun, energetic, and passionate about working with children? We’re excited to launch a brand new After School Club at the well-loved Kidz Planet — and we’re looking for enthusiastic team members to join us on this exciting journey!
About the Role:
You’ll be part of a small, friendly team delivering engaging, safe, and creative afterschool care for children aged 4–11. Based in a brand-new, exclusive club space within Kidz Planet, you’ll help children wind down after school with a mix of games, crafts, activities, and play.
The role includes collecting children from a nearby primary school using our organised walking bus, so confidence and responsibility are a must.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely escort children from school to Kidz Planet as part of the walking bus
- Set up and deliver fun, age-appropriate activities in the club space
- Support children with their needs in a caring and professional manner
- Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all children
- Communicate positively with parents and school staff
- Help with tidying, and general club duties
We’re Looking For Someone Who Is:
- Reliable, responsible, and child-focused
- Confident in working with primary-aged children
- Energetic, creative, and full of ideas for play and learning
- Happy to work as part of a supportive team
- Experience in childcare is preferred, but training will be provided
Experience & Training (desirable but not essential):
- Level 2/3 Childcare qualification
- Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding training
- Previous experience in a school, nursery, or children’s activity setting
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check and any required training

Pay: £10.00-£12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 16 per week
