Job Vacancy: Activity Co-ordinator (Part-Time – 20 hours/week)
Location: White Gables Care Home
Hours: 20 hours per week across 3–4 days, including alternate weekends (some flexibility available, to be discussed at interview)
White Gables Care Home is seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and creative Activity Co-ordinator to join our dedicated team and help bring joy and purpose to the lives of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver a varied programme of daily activities, events, and outings tailored to residents’ needs and interests.
- Promote resident engagement through meaningful one-to-one and group activities.
- Support residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) when appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with care staff to foster a stimulating and inclusive environment.
- Keep accurate records of participation and provide feedback on residents’ wellbeing and engagement.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in activity coordination or a related field is desirable.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A caring, patient, and adaptable approach, with a passion for improving the lives of older people.
- Ability to work well with residents living with dementia and other complex needs.

Pay: £12.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
