Location: Blaenau Gwent (community-based + central office)
Hours: 30 hours per week
Salary: Grade 6 : £32,115 FTE/£16.65 per hour
Contract: Fixed-term (August 2025 March 2026)

Are you passionate about community wellbeing, health equity, and helping people thrive? We’re looking for a dynamic and organised Project Coordinator to lead the delivery of Activate Blaenau Gwent a flagship programme supporting some of the most disadvantaged communities in Wales.

This is your chance to play a key role in a high-impact initiative that brings together health, employment, and community development partners to create real change.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Coordinating the day-to-day delivery of outreach, engagement, and wellbeing activities across Blaenau Gwent.
• Leading a small team of Engagement Officers and working closely with partners like the Health Board, DWP, and local housing providers.
• Managing project milestones, budgets, and data reporting to ensure we meet our goals.
• Acting as the central point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Promoting the project through community events, forums, and success stories.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in project coordination, ideally in health, employment, or community settings.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to motivate and support a team.
• Confidence working with data, reports, and digital tools.
• A Level 3 qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Business Admin, Community Development).
• A full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
