Accounts Assistant (Part-Time)
Location: Adara Group Head Office, Northampton, NN1 5LL
Salary: £12.75 - £13.50 per hour, depending on experience
Hours: 2 days per week, 9:00am–3:00pm (flexible hours can be discussed)

Adara Group Ltd is a well established and growing family owned business based in Northampton. We operate care homes and manage a portfolio of rental properties across Northamptonshire. Our friendly head office team supports the wider group with finance, property and operational management.
The Role
We are currently looking to recruit a part-time Accounts Assistant to support our small finance team. This is a varied role with a focus on maintaining accurate records, processing transactions, and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter customer and supplier invoices into Sage 50
- Process and reconcile bank payments and receipts
- Maintain records for petty cash and credit card expenses
- Reconcile supplier statements and support the payment process
- Assist with customer credit control and account reconciliation
- General administrative support and document filing
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc finance duties
What We’re Looking For
- Experience using Sage 50 Accounts (Sage 50 Payroll knowledge is a bonus)
- Basic knowledge of VAT
- Confident using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Ability to work accurately and independently
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach
- Experience with care home invoicing is desirable but not essential
