Connexus is delighted to be recruiting an Accounts Assistant on behalf of our client – a well-established leader in the tools and equipment market. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving finance team and play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly across multiple companies within their group.
In this varied role, you’ll work closely with the Financial Accountant, supporting a wide range of financial processes – from managing payments and reconciling accounts to handling customer invoicing and supplier administration. You’ll be joining a dynamic, fast-paced environment where attention to detail and a proactive approach are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use financial software to manage data, create reports, and track payments accurately.
- Process overseas currency bank payments for the Group.
- Administer employee expenses and ad-hoc payments.
- Manage customer account administration, invoicing, and payment receipts.
- Assist with purchase ledger supplier invoicing and payment processing.
- Reconcile various general ledger accounts.
- Carry out general accounts office administration.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in both sales administration and purchase ledger.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Finance know-how – budgeting, payment tracking, and financial reporting experience.
- Proficiency in Sage and Intact is advantageous.
- Confident communicator who can engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proactive problem-solver with a collaborative mindset.
