Effista are advertising this part time permanent role on behalf of a client based in North Monaghan. We are recruiting for an experienced person in Sage accounts administration and payroll with proven Microsoft Office skills to join the team based between Emyvale & Aughnacloy.
The suitable candidate will be working closely with existing personnel and will serve as a point of contact for customers. They must be a team player with excellent communication skills and open to contributing to all office tasks and ad hoc duties. They will be goal orientated, with good personality, strong customer & personnel skills and have excellent organisational skills.
This is a part time permanent position ideally suited to the person who has previous experience in a variety of office duties and administrative accounting.
Role and Responsibilities
General Office Duties
Accounts payable/receivable
Purchase/Sales invoicing
Bank reconciliations
Submitting vat returns, vies, Intrastat and RTD through ROS
Overall management of the accounts system
Payroll - including NI Payroll.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a similar position – ideally 2 year minimum
- Strong organisational skills with excellent eye for detail and accuracy
- Excellent IT Skills – Proficient use of Microsoft Excel/ Word/Microsoft 365
- Experience with Sage accounting software
- Knowledge of ROS and the HMRC will be an advantage
- Excellent communication and time management skills
Hours are expected to be 12-16 hours per week. Flexible hours are possible for the right candidate, but office presence is required.
