The Role:
As an Claim Assistant at Barnes Contractors UK LLP, you will play a pivotal role in the management of the construction insurance claims process. From initial claim acceptance to project completion, you’ll be integral to ensuring smooth operations. Your responsibilities will include handling new claims, scheduling works, preparing materials, managing health and safety documentation, and addressing complaints. This role is ideal for someone organised, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to the success of a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Claim Lifecycle Management: Support the acceptance and startup processes for all new insurance claims, ensuring accurate documentation and timely communication.
- Scheduling: Coordinate works scheduling to optimise resource allocation and project timelines.
- Materials and Job Preparation: Assist with material procurement and job readiness to facilitate seamless project execution.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Prepare and maintain H&S files, ensuring adherence to all regulatory standards.
- Complaint Management: Handle and resolve complaints promptly, ensuring client satisfaction and continuous improvement.
- Administrative Support: Maintain accurate records and update internal systems to ensure efficient operations.
