The Role: Accounts Administrator

We’re looking for a full-time Accounts Administrator (35 hours per week, with potential flexibility for part-time arrangements) to join our friendly and supportive accounts team, and will be based from our Elsworth office embracing hybrid working.

Reporting to the Accounts Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth and accurate handling of day-to-day accounting operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Raising and processing customer invoices and payments
  • Managing expense claims and credit cards
  • Supporting credit control activities
  • Handling purchase orders
  • Maintaining accurate records in our internal systems
  • Performing financial analysis and reporting using advanced Excel functions

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone with experience of working in a similar role, preferably within a small to medium sized business where you will have gained a wide range of experience of the accounts function.

Ideally you will have:

  • Have working knowledge of Sage Accounts
  • Are confident using Microsoft Office
  • Are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and enjoy variety in your work
  • Value being part of a close-knit, collaborative team
  • Have advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis)
