We are looking for a full time long-haul tramper van driver to join our small but friendly team, driving our 3.5t curtain side luton van with tail lift. As a company we specialise in same day and dedicated deliveries, customer service is always key for us, so we highly recognise and value the importance of excellent drivers with them being the forefront and representation of our company.
This role may require some weeks leaving Monday and may not be back until Friday, please take this into consideration before applying.
- This role would suit someone who likes a bit of variety, as no two days are usually the same
- As this role is dependent on customer demand, there are no particular set working hours, it is not a typical 9-5 job, and will on some weeks be leaving the BH area Monday and may not be back until the Friday. Our vans are fitted with sleeper units and night heaters
- As our industry is focused on same day and urgent dedicated deliveries, time keeping is absolutely essential
- This is not typically multi-drop, mostly one pick one drop, on average approx. 2-3 jobs per day
- Overnight layovers will be paid extra in addition to your salary
- Our work can cover anywhere across the UK, but will also occasionally be required for runs into Europe. A valid, in-date passport is essential
- Minimum 1 year’s experience driving large vans (minimum LWB) is essential, and a maximum of 6 penalty points on your driver’s licence
- Previous driving experience in large vans in and out of busy cities such as London is essential
- The job role is generally Monday-Friday, however sometimes weekend work may be required
- Some physical and heavy lifting whilst loading and unloading will at times be required
- Start date: End of June - early July
