We are seeking reliable Warehouse Operatives to join our PM shift team. You will be responsible for a range of general warehouse duties to ensure the smooth running of main warehousing and distribution hub based in Wavertree, Liverpool.
The site’s operational hours are between 08:30 – 21:00 Monday – Friday, managed via different shifts per requirements. All shifts will be 8.5 hours per day unless specified otherwise, with one-hour unpaid lunch break.
Shift times and Rates:
- Shift Pattern: 12:30 – 21:00
- Annual Salary: £24,387.83
- Weekly Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Overtime rates applicable
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently
- Loading and unloading goods from vehicles
- Stock replenishment and rotation
- Labelling and scanning products using handheld devices
- Ensuring work areas are clean and free of hazards
- Adhering to health & safety standards and company policies
- Reporting any discrepancies or damages
- Working as part of a team to meet performance targets and delivery deadlines
Qualifications and Experience:
- Attention to detail and ability to work to strict time deadlines and targets
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is desirable but not essential
- Ability to work independently during quiet periods
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Flexibility and adaptability are essential
- Manual handling and some lone working will be required, and candidates should ensure they are suitably equipped to handle the physical expectations of the role
