Purpose/Objective:
Maintain inventory levels; issues material to shop floor, loads/unloads shipments; ships/packs goods, receives and records incoming material and material handling tasks. Possess and applies a broader knowledge of warehouse processes, protocols and procedures.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Reads picklist and issues materials to proper work areas.
- Checks inventory on the computer and finds location of proper stock.
- Inputs receipts into the computer.
- Checks shipping orders to assure proper material is shipped to right vendor.
- Loads and unloads trucks and prepares material for shipment. Operates order picker.
- Counts, weighs and records number of units of material moved. Labels materials for shipment.
- Contribute to general cleaning and good housekeeping practices throughout the facility.
- Provide forklift operations for the Packaging and/or Shipping & Receiving departments. Load/Unload incoming and outbound trailers
- Move materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and manufacturing areas
- Identify and label materials, and record their locations in the warehouse/on the shelves to maintain inventory
- Prepare finished products for shipment by identifying their location, then pulling, packing, and loading them
- Operate trucks, forklifts, cranes, and other equipment to move freight
- Perform and report cycle counts
- Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines
- May assist with movement of all hazardous materials and Universal waste
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Perform Cycle Counts as needed.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Forklift Certification may be required.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Able to follow and comply with applicable good manufacturing, safety, and quality assurance practices.
- Provide forklift operations for the Packaging and/or Shipping & Receiving departments. Load/Unload incoming and outbound trailers.
- Account for daily production totals and product placement

- 1 or more years warehouse experience
Hours of Work:
Monday to Thursday 7:30am until 4:30pm
Friday 7:30am until 12:30pm
