LRSO Ltd manage the facilities at schools on evenings, weekends and holidays for customers in the community to hire for their recreational activities. We have everything from 3G pitches and sports halls to theatres, dance & drama studios, music rooms and, of course, classrooms.
In order to manage all of our customers and look after our schools, we employ Venue Supervisors, whose job it is to make sure everything runs smoothly from the time we open the school to the time we close and lock up.
We are delighted to be working with four new schools in Nottingham (Nottingham Emmanuel, Aspley, Beechdale and Wollaton) and are now looking for some terrific team members to join us at these wonderful schools.
This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who enjoys being active and working with members of the public - excellent customer service skills are a must!
The Venue Supervisor role comes with a great deal of responsibility, both for the care of our customers and the safety of our schools. You will need to use initiative, solve problems and be methodical in following procedures following your induction training.
Whilst there are many exciting aspects to this role, the primary tasks are:
- Opening up the school before any customers arrive and preparing the facilities in accordance with the customers' requirements (e.g. badminton players need badminton nets!)
- Engaging with customers whilst they are on site and ensuring that their activity runs smoothly
- Cleaning at the end of the shift so that the school is returned ready for lessons the next day and finally locking up, setting alarms and securing the school
The Venue Supervisor role comes with a great deal of flexibility in terms of hours you can work. We open our schools from 5pm to 10pm, Monday to Friday and 9am to 10pm at weekends. You can choose whether you only wish to do a couple of shifts every week or want more regular work.
We pay above the National average for this role and in turn expect our staff to be of the highest standard, exhibiting our values at all times.
So whether you are looking for a part-time role to fit in with other work or studies, or are looking for permanent work with evening and weekend hours, we would be delighted to welcome you to our friendly team and exciting company.
Due to the nature of our business operating within schools and with customer groups that may include children, all successful applicants will be required to pass enhanced DBS checks. Applicants must be over the age of 18.
