NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.
This is a permanent annex 21 position for 29.6 hours per week worked over Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:00 inclusive of public holidays.
An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Radiographer or Midwife to join our dedicated ultrasound team, providing Obstetric and Gynaecology services across NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
The successful candidate must have:
- HCPC or registration.
- A Bachelor of Science degree (or equivalent) in Radiography, Midwifery
- Significant clinical experience (minimum 4 yrs).
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work on their own initiative, but also able to be a flexible team player.
- Knowledge of cross sectional anatomy and good IT skills are an advantage.
You will be required to successfully complete mandatory training to Postgraduate Certificate level in Obstetric and Gynaecology Ultrasound.
