We’re now looking for an Assistant Team Leader to help drive operational excellence and support our high-performing Painter Brothers team.
What you'll be doing
As an Assistant Team Leader, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the Team Leader to:
- Allocate and coordinate daily tasks and team schedules
- Provide hands-on guidance and problem-solving support
- Step into leadership responsibilities when required
- Monitor team performance and drive continuous improvement
- Foster a collaborative, safe, and productive work environment
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
Who we're looking for
We’re looking for someone who is:
- A natural leader with proven supervisory experience (ideally in construction, engineering, or a similar sector)
- A strong communicator who can motivate and support a diverse team
- Organised, adaptable, and solutions-focused
- Confident in managing workloads, resolving conflicts, and maintaining high standards
- Familiar with operational systems and health & safety regulations
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- NVQ Level 3 in Management/Supervision (or equivalent)
- Experience in high-performance or deadline-driven environments
- Exposure to coaching, mentoring, or employee development strategies
