Job Title: Team Administrator
Location: Margarete Centre, 108 Hampstead Road, London, Greater London, NW1 2LS
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 9:00 – 17:00
Pay: £15.62 to £17.43 per hour
Length: we expect this placement to last until end of November 2025
We are currently seeking a proactive, reliable, and team-oriented Team Administrator to join our dynamic and newly developed South Core Team at the Margarete Centre in central London.
This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills and a passion for delivering high-quality administrative and reception support in a healthcare environment.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to service line teams.
- Carry out reception duties, including welcoming visitors and managing room bookings.
- Monitor service performance against KPIs and clinical indicators to support quality improvement.
- Prepare and edit documents and presentations using MS Office and other tools (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Power BI).
- Manage diaries and prioritise communications including emails, post, and calls.
- Input data into the Trust’s clinical systems and support IT application use.
- Arrange and service meetings, including minute-taking.
- Offer cross-cover for colleagues during busy periods or staff absences.
You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
You’ll have the following skills/experience:
- Previous experience in an administrative or PA role (NHS experience desirable)
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Able to work independently and maintain confidentiality at all times
- Compassionate and respectful approach, particularly in a mental health setting

This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience.
