Ebenezer Support Ltd is recruiting a Support Worker to join the friendly team at Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset. This role provides vital personal and practical support, enabling older people and those living with dementia to remain as independent as possible. If you hold an NVQ Level III in Care (or are working towards it) and have a passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personal and basic nursing care in line with individual care plans.
- Act as a key worker, preparing reports and attending review meetings.
- Encourage social interaction, dignity and choice for each service user.
- Monitor health and wellbeing, reporting any changes promptly.
- Operate bathing, lifting and other care equipment safely.
- Maintain accurate records, risk assessments and support plans.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- NVQ Level III in Care (or working towards).
- Enhanced DBS clearance & adult barred-list check.
- COVID-19 vaccination proof.
- Mandatory medication training.
- Manual lifting and handling certification.
- Demonstrable experience caring for older people and those with dementia.
- Ability to manage challenging behaviour (training provided).
Skills & Attributes
- Person-centred approach, treating service users with dignity, respect and empathy.
- Effective literacy and numeracy skills to follow care plans and complete reports.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and codes of practice.
- Strong team player with excellent communication and coaching abilities.
- Physically fit to assist with personal care and daily activities.
