We are seeking a Children's Support Worker to join our team our team in Kettering, Northamptonshire.
This role is an incredible opportunity to develop your skills alongside an experienced with a clear pathway to becoming a Senior Support Worker with a fully funded Level 3 NVQ in Residential Childcare.
Responsibilities
- Offer companionship and emotional support to young people, fostering a positive environment.
- Become a willing participant! From impromptu makeovers to discussing the latest TikTok trends or football scores!
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the young people, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement care plans tailored to individual young people's needs.
- Have fun! be ready to have a lot of fun while also providing crucial support during overwhelming emotions.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in working with young people
- Hold a clear DBS check
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.
- Have a driving licence
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
- Are eager to complete an 18 month Level 3 NVQ in Residential Childcare.
