Stand-In Front of House / Receptionist (Zero-Hour Contract – Lancaster)

We’re seeking a warm, organised, and proactive stand-in receptionist to provide holiday and occasional sickness cover at Beyoo Medical Aesthetics, a nurse-led skin clinic in Lancaster.
This zero-hour contract role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-centred environment and enjoys delivering outstanding customer service.
You’ll be covering for Jane, our regular Front of House Receptionist, during annual leave, and potentially during other planned or short-notice absences.

Key Responsibilities
Front of House & Patient Support
- Greet patients and assist with check-in
- Ensure all digital consultation and consent forms are completed
- Rebook appointments and process payments using Collums and Coherent
- Manage patient enquiries via WhatsApp, email, and social media DMs
- Share cancellations and offers to social media (basic posting)
- Answer clinic phone (during in-person days) and manage the clinic mobile if covering remotely
Organisation & Treatment Support
- Take high-quality before-and-after photos (training provided)
- Operate the Observ 520x Skin Scanner during consultations (training provided)
- Maintain a clean, calm, and presentable reception and treatment area
Admin & Stock
- Monitor and re-order skincare and clinic stock (as needed)
- Provide ad-hoc admin support to the Clinical Director
This Role Might Suit You If You…
- Have 1+ year experience in a receptionist, PA, admin, or front-of-house role
- Are confident, reliable, and tech-savvy, with strong written/spoken English
- Are warm and professional with patients and colleagues
- Have worked in a small, owner-managed business and can adapt quickly
- Can remain calm under pressure and juggle multiple responsibilities
Hours and Flexibility
- Zero-hour contract — shifts offered as needed (primarily holiday and sickness cover)
- Core cover days are typically Weds–Fri (in-clinic), with occasional Mon/Tues remote support (clinic mobile)
- Shifts will be offered in advance with notice, but flexibility is appreciated
Pay & Perks
- Hourly rate: £12.75
