Assistant Programme Manager – Modern Foreign Languages
Salary: £28,826 per annum pro rata (actual salary £8,292 per annum)
Hours of work: 6 hours per week, term time only
Leyton Sixth Form College offers a wide range of A level and vocational courses to approximately 2,300 full-time 16–19-year-old students. We are looking for an excellent speaker of Spanish to offer conversational lessons and help with the general teaching of our A level Spanish students. You will also support enrichment activities and carry out general administration as required. In order to apply, you will need to be a fluent speaker of Spanish. You should either have an undergraduate degree (or equivalent qualification) in the subject, or be a native speaker.
You should be suitably qualified to teach within a sixth form college. In addition, you should have excellent communication skills and a track record of sustained improvement leading to a positive impact on students’ progress. As an inspirational teacher you will be committed to student-centred learning, and to raising the attainment and aspirations of our students.
