Job Posting Title: Short-Term Business Travel Immigration Specialist
Salary: £39,994 - £45,000 (depending on experience)
Location: Peterborough

The Opportunity
Are you passionate about navigating the complexities of global mobility and immigration compliance?
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Total Rewards Partner to support our short-term business travel program. In this role, you’ll coordinate work permit requirements for international business travelers, working closely with HR colleagues and external immigration vendors to design and maintain efficient, compliant processes across multiple regions. What You Will Do
Monitor global immigration requirements to ensure Caterpillar is prepared to meet work authorization needs for short term business travelers in each country.
Act as liaison between immigration vendors and in-country HR to gather required company documentation, review applications, and secure necessary signatures.
Support vendors by providing employee compensation and benefits data for permit applications.
Maintain a global contact list of HR and immigration contacts by legal entity and country.
Manage reporting of critical immigration data, including permit quotas and compliance reporting.
Resolve immigration-related issues for STBTs and coordinate with vendors for resolution.
Oversee vendor support for deregistration, expiration, and renewal of work permits globally.
Approve expedited processing fees when necessary.
Coordinate data collection for compliance audits.
Monitor and analyze global immigration updates and determine if enterprise-wide communication is needed.
Provide emergency immigration support as required.
Audit immigration vendor invoices.
Develop and refine global processes, recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.
What You Will Have
Requires a university degree or certification that is equivalent.
Requires seasoned analytical skills, good practical judgment, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work and contribute independently with a team.
Requires working experience in the specialty area of human resources or immigration.:
