Foxwood Furniture is offering the right candidate the opportunity to join our team as an upholstery sewing machinist. We are looking for somebody who can work either part-time on site, or somebody who is able to work from home on a piece rate basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Sewing bulk production runs once patterns have been developed.
- Quality control of own work.
- Problem solving to establish the best method of manufacturing for each job.
Experience:
Experience working as an upholstery sewing machinist in a factory environment is essential.
Skills:
Competence using the following sewing machines:
- Standard walking foot and flatbed
- Twin needle
- Overlocker
- Long arm quilter
Personal skills to include:
- Problem solving
- Team working
- Attention to detail
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
