The deli, open for breakfast and lunch, will feature a counter piled with pastries (like za’atar croissants and halva brownies), dips, breads, wraps and salads, and a bar serving coffees and Syrian mint tea. This room will also house a shop selling products, like jalapeno shatta, dates and chilli jam, from across the Med.
Job Summary:
As a Server, you will be the face of our restaurant, ensuring guests have a pleasant
dining experience. You will take orders, serve food and beverages, and assist guests
with any requests. Your role is essential in creating a welcoming and enjoyable
environment while maintaining professionalism and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar.
- Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally.
- Engage with guests to ensure a positive dining experience and address any
concerns.
- Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about ingredients,
dietary restrictions, and specials.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, dining areas, and serving
stations.
- Assist in setting up and closing down the restaurant as required.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Server or in a similar hospitality role is preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
