Salary: Grade G. Scale 23 - £34,434 to Scale 28 - £39,152 (actual salary plus an additional £6,156 for contractual enhancements bringing salary range to £40,499 - £45,308)

Base Location: Children’s Home, Hyde

We are looking for a Senior Residential Childcare Worker, who will work as part of a team providing 24-hour care within the Children’s Residential Services for Looked After Children. You will be working in a busy 3 bed Children’s Home caring for young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs.

Hours of work are evening and day shifts as part of a flexible working rota and sleep in duties. You will be expected to complete 7-8 sleeps a month. You will be expected to train and supervise staff under the direction of the manager and be able to manage the building in the manager’s absence.

About You

You must be committed to a comprehensive Induction and Training Programme and will be expected to be qualified in NVQ 3 Level in Caring for Children and Young People or equivalent award.
