MiQ is looking for a Product Manager to focus on enhancing our Intelligence offering in our global markets.
Intelligence is a growing part of MiQ’s business and a rapidly expanding part of the Programmatic landscape, situated at the intersection of watching, browsing, and buying ads. The Product Manager will support in scaling MiQ’s Intelligence offering by researching, scoping and developing automated trading solutions, developing performance algorithms to improve MiQ’s cost position and KPI attainment, and developing planning and measurement products in partnership with MiQ’s Platform teams to surface timely and actionable insights to our media traders and customers.
This role requires a good mix of internal team collaboration as well as stakeholder management. You will be required to stay up-to-date with relevant industry offerings, be comfortable working with technology teams, and recommend key features and approaches that the team should adopt to build a strong product offering. You will also need to coordinate with commercial teams across geographies to understand local market needs and factor those into product specifications.
You will work closely with MiQ’s Product Lead for Intelligence, our platform product teams, engineering, design/UX, and data science teams to develop a best-in-class capability to help brands plan, execute, and measure campaigns in conjunction with the rest of their media mix.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
The Senior Product Manager is tasked with building on our existing capabilities for Intelligence, identifying gaps and opportunities in our offering, working with MiQ’s technology and platform product teams to execute a development roadmap for Intellignece, and working to scale features across our regional markets.
Research and stakeholder management
- Gain a deep understanding of client needs by meeting with customers and internal stakeholders, as well as global MiQ team heads to ensure global validity of roadmap additions
- Deliberate with technical teams on optimal solution approaches by understanding and analyzing the technical problem statements.
- Identify pain points and gaps in our current narratives to ideate, prioritize and deliver enhancements with the planning platforms.
- Coordinate resources across a range of departments of the business in order to develop great products, in particular working closely with product stakeholders across the product and tech teams
- Collaborate with product stakeholders to research, validate and prioritize new features that align with business priorities
Planning and delivery
- Plan, prioritise & project manage product development features to accelerate MiQ’s Intelligence capabilities – including capabilities to help plan, buy/execute, and measure Intelligence campaigns as part of a broader programmatic media mix
- Convert global client needs into technical features, and then convert the resulting features into marketable benefits.
- Work closely with the global product marketing team to align product enhancements internally with sales and marketing collateral externally.
- Collaborate with local product stakeholders to understand and prioritize across local enhancements.
- Integrate usability studies, research and market studies into product requirements
- Lead the ideation, technical development, launch and continued adoption of features you build
- Drive product development by partnering with a team of platform product managers, engineers, data scientists, and UX/UI designers
Partner evaluation and collaboration
- Working alongside the strategic partnerships team, build and execute plans to test and onboard new data partners, enhancing the quality and scope of data available.
- Identify and work closely with key external partners to ensure that the MIQ product roadmap is additive
Measuring and reporting on success
- Understand, collect and analyse metrics that inform the success of the product
- Drive adoption and measure the success of new measurement offerings and features.
- Spread knowledge and train teams on new developments and evangelize MiQ’s Intelligence capabilities
Lead and Guide
- Mentor junior members within the team to deliver value for the business
- Develop followership across the development teams and be the Subject matter experts to enable teams in identifying problems for the future
- Set best practices within the product teams to maximize productivity in a business-oriented environment.
WHAT IMPACT YOU WILL CREATE:
As a product manager in the Intelligence team, you will be working on cutting-edge innovation in the connected TV, Social, Retail, Mobile space. You are at the forefront of creating a one-of-a-kind Intelligence insights and planning platform that is based on the largest global data footprint. As the SPM in the group, you'll be coordinating across design, engineering and commercial teams to solve for the problems faced by traditional and modern planners through a unique data backed lens.

- Commercial stakeholder - Sellers and account manager are gonna be the primary stakeholders for the capabilities you develop
- Design - Working with the design teams to bring strategic implementations to life through interpretable design language.
- DS / Engineering - Your partner in crime, helping you translate complex business challenges into analytical solutions
WHAT WE NEED:
- 5+ years of advertising technology experience, preferably an Agency, brand, or buy-side experience, executing or planning campaigns (Preferred if TV or Retail experience)
- In-depth knowledge of the programmatic landscape, the data and technology that underpins it.
- Experience working with global commercial markets
- A fail-fast and learn mentality in experimenting with new concepts and industry opportunities.
- Detail-oriented with an ability to prioritise projects/tasks simultaneously and to completion
