Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. As a Room Attendant, at Clermont Charing Cross you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our guest rooms and public areas, ensuring that every guest enjoys a comfortable and welcoming environment. This position is ideal for individuals who have a passion for hospitality and take pride in their work.
Duties
- Clean and service guest rooms, ensuring all areas are tidy and well-presented.
- Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish guest supplies as needed.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning rooms to meet hotel standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests in a timely manner.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hospitality or hotel environment is preferred but not essential.
- A strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- A friendly and approachable demeanour with good communication skills.
