About Us:
ChocoLoons is an independent family run business with our toy store opened in 2017, our sweet shop in 2022 and our new nursery store in 2025. Our goal is to provide excellent customer service. Every customer is important to us and we strive to make sure they have the best shopping experience at ChocoLoons. We take pride in seeking toys that encourage togetherness and inclusion and can be enjoyed by children of all ages, varying abilities and interests. Recently we opened our third store which is a nursery shop.
The Role:
We are currently recruiting for a reliable, committed person to support us in the smooth running of our stores. The overall purpose of the role will be responsibility of opening and closing the store when management is absent. Providing a high-level of customer service and a strong attention to detail. Interaction is a crucial part of this role so we are looking for someone who is friendly and can display excellent communication skills. Self motivation and the ability to undertake duties independently as well as enjoy being part of a team are key attributes. The flexibility to work between our all our stores is required, all within the same location.
Job Responsibilities:
Process deliveries, price goods, date check, update stock inventory.
Greet and assist customers to ensure an enjoyable shopping experience.
Provide excellent customer service at all times.
Develop product knowledge skills to share with customers seeking advice.
Merchandising and replenishment, restock shelves and displays ensuring they are visually appealing.
Keep all health and safety documentation up to date, understand and follow procedures for health & safety and security.
Website: update new stock, answer emails, process orders.
Check supplier invoices for incoming goods.
General cleaning, ensuring the shop floor is well presented at all times.
Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Familiar with all aspects of social media and be able to create in store content.
Desirable Requirements:
Previous retail experience (1 Year).
Previous customer service (1 Year).
Canva training but not essential as training will be provided.
Be available and willing to work variable hours, including weekends.
