Working in recently refurbished offices, you will support the Facilities Manager to ensure the smooth running of the RTPI’s London Office frequently being the first point of contact with staff and members’, providing a professional and helpful welcome and creating an important first impression of the RTPI.
This customer facing role, which is primarily based at the main reception desk, involves meeting and greeting, responding to enquiries by telephone and email, administration support, ensuring that the booking system is used effectively and efficiently, liaising with suppliers and contractors and other duties such as providing technical support and advice for meeting room users and assisting with building checks. You will also gain experience and a good understanding of the operations of various other departments such as membership and finance by providing administrative support during busy periods.
With experience of reception or administration work, you will have a customer-focused, pro-active approach along with good administration, organisation and IT skills. Experience of operating an electronic switchboard, knowledge of facilities or health and safety matters or experience in a membership role would be an advantage.
