Job description
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Maintenance Contractor to support our housekeeping team in maintaining the high standards of our serviced accommodation units. You will be responsible for ensuring that properties are safe, functional, and well-maintained, addressing a range of maintenance needs efficiently. This role requires a proactive approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering a high-quality guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Property Maintenance & Repairs
- Work closely with the housekeeping team to inspect units for maintenance requirements during turnovers.
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs across all serviced units, including but not limited to:
- Plumbing (e.g., leaking taps, clogged drains)
- Electrical work (e.g., light replacements, troubleshooting minor issues)
- Painting and decorating (e.g., touch-ups, wall repairs)
- Carpentry (e.g., repairing furniture, replacing fixtures)
- Identify and resolve issues reported by the housekeeping team promptly.
Requirements:
- Must have own car and tools
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with tenants
- Proven experience in building maintenance or a related field
- Knowledge of basic plumbing and electrical systems
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
