The Grimsby Institute, a proud member of the TEC Partnership, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Programme Leader to lead our Level 2 Travel & Tourism program within the Business and Visitor Economy department. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on students' learning journeys, guiding them as they build foundational business knowledge and skills. Reporting to the Head of Area your duties will include;
- Leading with Vision: You'll be the driving force behind the Level 2 Travel & Tourism programs, ensuring high-quality delivery and an engaging learning experience for every student.
- Inspiring Learners: You'll teach and facilitate engaging sessions tailored to learners at different levels, bringing travel and tourism concepts to life and fostering a supportive and motivating classroom environment
- Curriculum Champion: You'll contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the curriculum, ensuring it remains relevant, innovative, and meets the needs of both students and employers in the travel sector.
- Student Success Advocate: You'll provide guidance, support, and assessment to students, tracking their progress and celebrating their achievements.
- Collaboration is Key: You'll work collaboratively with colleagues across the Institute and the wider TEC Partnership, sharing best practices and contributing to a vibrant educational community.
As a Programme Leader for Travel & Tourism, you should have:
- A genuine passion for travel, tourism, and education.
- Relevant qualifications and experience in a travel or tourism-related field and GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths.
- Proven ability to teach and motivate learners effectively.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to student success and continuous professional development.
