Role: Production Administrator
Salary: £24,000 - £26,000

You’re a calm and methodical problem-solver who would relish the opportunity to join a welcoming production team in York. With a background in administration, you’ll be confident working both independently and collaborating with others across the Portakabin business.
As a Production Administrator, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that manufacturing data is processed in an accurate and timely manner, in line with company procedures and timescales. You’ll be IT literate and confident in collating and analysing data, generating reports, and producing presentations as and when required. You’ll play a fundamental role in new starter inductions, SAP transactions, booking materials, and labour and participating in productivity, lean, and value exercises.
As Production Administrator, you will:
· Ensure that the process of entering job sheets onto both, our internal ERP system both (SAP) and spreadsheets is carried out in an efficient and timely manner.
· Maintain yard maps in line with daily movement
· Agency ordering, confirming numbers, and new starter inductions
· Standard operating procedure (SOP) administration
· SAP transactions – Dispatch Process
· Printing off drawings ahead of Production requirement

Our ideal candidate
We are looking for someone who has:
· GCSE or equivalent level of education, including Maths and English
· Significant experience in an administration role, demonstrating team work and analytical thinking
· Experience using Microsoft Office package and other systems simultaneously
· Exceptional organisation, planning and customer service skills
· Confidence to build relationships both internally and externally
