Key Responsibilities


  • Proven experience in product marketing, preferably within the B2B software space.
  • Specific experience with HR software or internal communications software is highly desired.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful product or feature launches.
  • Success in conducting market research and competitive analysis to inform product strategy.
  • Experience with sales enablement and developing sales collateral.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage time to address multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategies, including digital marketing, demand generation, and content creation.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including storytelling and presentation abilities.
  • Familiarity with AI and its practical application in product marketing for content creation, market research, and more.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise


Product Positioning and Messaging:
  • Develop compelling and differentiated product positioning and messaging that resonates with target audiences and clearly articulates how the product solves customer problems.
  • Develop and maintain product messaging kit(s) that serve as an internal guide for howe we market, sell, and differentiate our products in the marketplace.
Sales and Customer Success Enablement
  • Train sales teams on products, their features, and how to effectively communicate product value to prospects.
  • Support sales channels by providing internal tools and external collateral.
Competitive Intelligence:
  • Conduct internal and external market research on our core audiences, products, trends, competitors, and more.
  • Analyze and package your research into actionable insights to influence the product roadmap, drive operational efficiency, and improve our right to win.
Go-to-Market Launches:

  • Lead and coordinate comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new product launches and existing product updates, collaborating with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and other Marketing teams.
  • Plan and execute product releases, ensuring smooth adoption and successful market reception.
Strategic Partner:
  • Work closely with Product Managers to align product features with customer needs and refine product offerings based on feedback.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, etc.) to ensure alignment and drive product success.
  • Act as a primary thought leader for products externally, including speaking engagements and written works.
  • Advocate for customer needs and surface go-to-market challenges and opportunities.
