LDC Care Company provides care to adults and young people with highly complex learning disabilities and mental health diagnoses, specialising in supporting individuals who may exhibit severely challenging behaviours.
LDC is part of a specialist framework in partnership with the Local Authority and LODDEN, forming part of the national Transforming Care Programme. We are also accredited as a Centre of Excellence under the LODDEN & PROACT-SCIPr-UK® framework.
The framework’s objective is to enable individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviours to live in supported living or residential settings, moving away from secure units or hospital environments. At LDC, we embrace the ethos of Positive Behaviour Support and are licensed to deliver PROACT-SCIPr-UK® training to our employees.
We lead the PBS and PROACT-SCIPr-UK® approach through our dedicated and highly trained PBS Team, led by our Head of Business Development and PBS Lead. Due to company growth, and our commitment to providing this specialist support and expertise across our multiple locations and regions, LDC is now recruiting a PBS Coordinator to join this team.
Reporting to the PBS Lead, you will help with the delivery of PROACT-SCIPr-UK® training, developing individual PBS plans, coaching employees across locations, and supporting the transition and care of individuals with complex needs and behaviours of concern. Working alongside the PBS Lead, you will help shape practice standards and promote a rights-based, least-restrictive, person-centred approach throughout LDC locations.
The role will be primarily based on-site at designated locations, with an administrative component included. Flexibility will be needed, as shift work may be required, and occasional out-of-hours or weekend work may be necessary to support transitional work or provide crisis intervention support when needed.
What Can We Offer You?
Not only can LDC Care Co offer you a supportive forward-thinking workplace culture, filled with new and exciting opportunities, the following will be offered to you as standard:
Competitive basic salary of up to £30,000
Blue Light Discount Card, providing hundreds of online benefits and cashback rewards

About You
You will already have a solid, demonstrable background in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and/or behaviours of concern and experience in developing and delivering PBS plans and behaviour interventions.
You will also be a Certified PROACT-SCIPr-UK® Instructor (or equivalent BILD ACT-accredited) and been skilled in training delivery.
A valid UK driving licence is preferred and flexibility to travel is essential.
