The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust is looking to recruit a part-time Payroll Officer to join the HR team, working up to 25 hours per week.
This role will ensure an effective delivery of the monthly payroll, liaising with all departments to collate and record hours worked, holidays and sickness and importing into the HR and payroll system for processing. You will also be dealing with any queries that are raised along with producing the payroll reports for the departments and accounts. You will need to collate annual activities related to payroll, benefits and budgets. You will also provide HR administration support to the wider HR team and assist the HR Manager with projects.
You will possess a CIPP Advance Payroll Technician qualification, have a good knowledge of UK payroll legislation and of statutory payments and deductions. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to record information accurately, able to cope with deadlines and prioritise your workload. You will demonstrate a high level of ICT skills including Excel. You will be willing to work independently and as part of the team, flexible in your approach, be self-motivated and able to use your own initiative.
