Finance/Payroll Administrator

Who are we?
We are Payne’s Dairies - one of the largest UK independent dairy companies, collecting milk from farms, processing and delivering liquid milk and cream to wholesalers, food manufacturers and retail outlets nationwide and based in Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a Finance Administrator reporting to the Finance Manager but working very closely as part of the wider Finance team.
Candidates must have similar experience and ideally within a SME environment.
What are the main responsibilities?
- Production of monthly farmer statements.
- Payroll preparation and reporting
- Posting of bank payments
- Preparation of monthly journals
- Bank reconciliation
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Third party invoice checking and posting.
- Any other tasks as required.
What skills you will already possess
- An excellent attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Strong analytical & numerical skills.
- Have an enthusiastic and conscientious attitude towards work.
- A good working knowledge of MS Office, including excel and outlook is essential.
- Have the ability to work under own initiative and also fit well into an existing team.
- Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with a variety of colleagues.
- Prior experience of using Sage 200 would also be an advantage.
