Description:
You will be expected to work with primary school teachers to improve their knowledge of the delivery of PE to a high standard. Working alongside our tried and tested CPD programme you will be part of increasing teachers confidence of delivering PE lessons.
There will also be opportunities to lead sessions at our lunch clubs, after-school clubs, community sessions and holiday camps.
Requirements:
- Good amount of knowledge and experience delivering several sports in PE lessons in Primary Schools, including gymnastics and dance.
- Be able to record and track progression (providing relevant and constructive feedback to up-skill teachers).
- Good knowledge of the PE National Curriculum
Preferable-
- Supporting the delivery of PE in School Sport (Level 3 or higher)
- A recognised level 2 or above qualification in a specific sport.
- A gymnastics and/or dance qualification
Hours of work:
- 9am - 3pm on Thursdays
- Possibility of an additional day
- Cover work on other days
You will be paid an hourly rate according to your coaching grade. You will be able to move up the grade scale based on performance.
