Job Title: Transport Administrator
Location: Units 9/10 Vantage Business Park, Tinsley, S9 1BG
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 08:00am - 4:30pm with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break.

We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Transport Administrator to assist our Transport Manager and European Contracts Manager, ensuring smooth and compliant logistics operations.
Role Overview:
This role involves coordinating driver schedules, managing documentation, assisting with international shipments, and handling customer service inquiries. Experience in logistics, customer service, or import/export paperwork is a plus!
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coordination & Compliance: Ensure drivers have accurate and compliant paperwork for the transport of Dangerous Goods (DG) in line with waste and ADR (European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road) regulations.
- Driver Run Coordination: Compile, route, and plan driver runs based on collection requests received by phone and email, using specialized routing software.
- Documentation Management: Maintain organised records of completed runs, ensuring all transport documents are accurate and complete.
- Digital Communication: Utilise logistics software to communicate effectively with drivers, including transmitting route information through a mobile app.
- International Shipments: Coordinate bookings for international shipments and collections with couriers and hauliers, ensuring compliance with import/export requirements.
- Invoice & Quotation Management: Prepare quotations and invoices for clients, ensuring accuracy when cross-referencing received invoices from couriers.
- Customer Service: Handle inbound calls with professionalism, addressing inquiries promptly and assisting with customer needs.
- Data Collection & Reporting: Collect and record logistics data to support accurate reporting and performance metrics tracking.

Requirements:
- Strong IT and communication skills
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English at grade C or above
