Job Summary
Office administrator required to join a small, friendly team in a long established sign making company for over 60 years.
We are seeking a proactive Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a keen attention to detail, ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment. This role involves a variety of administrative tasks that support our daily operations, making it essential for maintaining an efficient workflow. Must be able to work independently.
Duties
- To perform clerical duties, including, but not limited to, monitoring and responding to emails, typing delivery notes and job sheets, mailing and filing correspondence, placing orders, and answering calls
- Deal with incoming emails, process incoming purchase orders
- Interacting with visitors
- Typing correspondence and forms among other documents
- Photocopying, scanning, and filing appropriate documents
- Maintain accurate records and enter data
- Maintaining and ordering stationary
- Signing for delivered packages
- Booking in couriers
Qualifications
- Previous administration experience
- Excellent customer care skills
- Ability to type efficiently and accurately is essential for this role
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong phone etiquette skills to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
- Good knowledge of microsoft office programs
- Attention to detail
- Highly motivated and ability to prioritize efficiently
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team
- Enthusiastic and reliable
- Familiarity with clerical tasks and general office procedures
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 9.00 am - 3.00 pm
Friday 9.00 am - 12.30 pm
Office is on the second Floor (there is no lift)
Free on site parking
Short walking distance to the train station and bus stops
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25.5 per week
