Are you passionate about food and looking to start your career in New Product Development (NPD)?
We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as an NPD Assistant, supporting the development of exciting new products from the very beginning.
Hours: 08:00 until 16:00 (Some flexibility needed)
Breaks: 1 x 30 min (unpaid)
Pay: Starting at £12.50 per hour - to increase inline with a competency based assessment.
Core Responsibilities
- Collecting and preparing raw ingredients for trials and product development
- Supporting the NPD team during recipe testing and kitchen trials
- Ultimately responsible for the upkeep of the NPD kitchen, carrying out hygiene and cleaning tasks to maintain high food safety standards
- Washing and sanitising equipment, keeping the development kitchen organised
- Labelling, recording, and storing ingredients correctly.
- Assisting with day-to-day administrative and practical tasks in the NPD kitchen.
