Job Summary
2 Part-time posts (8.30am-12.30pm Mon, Tue, Wed, Thurs & Fri) or (1.30pm-6pm Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs & Fri).
We are seeking 2 dedicated and professional Medical/Admin Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Duties
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
- Manage appointment scheduling, including booking, rescheduling, and cancelling appointments as needed.
- Ensure the reception area is organized and welcoming for patients.
- Handle incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate department or staff member.
- Administrative duties include Scanning, Emailing, dealing with patients prescription requests.
- Process patient registration forms.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow throughout the practice.
Experience
- Previous experience in an office or administrative role is essential, preferably within a healthcare setting.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in using office equipment such as computers, printers, and telephones.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic health record systems is advantageous but not mandatory as full training will be given.
