We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at Francesco Hair Academy Birmingham. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors in a warm and professional manner.
- Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate personnel or department.
- Manage appointment scheduling and maintain an organised calendar for the team.
- Handle inquiries via email and provide accurate information to clients.
- Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations within the office.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficient in using office equipment such as computers, printers, and telephones.
- Familiarity with office management software (e.g., MS Office Suite) is advantageous.
- A friendly demeanour with a customer-oriented approach.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
