Loft Insulation Installer

Job Description

We are a long established company based in Doncaster with a reputation for providing a high quality service to our clients, which include major house builders.

Due to expansion and increased workload, we require a further Loft Insulation Installer who is trustworthy and reliable and who has the ability to work safely and efficiently within a roof space.

The vast majority of the work will be carried out on building sites insulating the lofts of New Build properties in the Yorkshire and Lincolnshire region.

A full driving licence is essential.

Having an existing and current CSCS card is required as you will not be allowed to access a building site without one. Applicants without a CSCS card will need to apply for a basic one if successful (which will mean taking a touchscreen health and safety test and attending a one day training course).

You will need to be a team player with readiness to learn.

The work involves:

• Working on building sites insulating new build properties
• Driving a company vehicle.
• Loading the loft with the materials and laying the insulation material to the required depth
• Tidying away waste and completing the required paperwork
• Working safely at height, from ladders, scaffolding and elevated work platforms
• Working safely in the small confined space of a loft
• Problem solving
• Providing customer satisfaction

Qualifications required:

• Full driving licence
• Current CSCS card

Skills and experience required:

• Physical stamina to lift materials and work in physically demanding environments
• The ability to work safely and efficiently in the confined space of a loft
• The ability to work safely at heights
• Excellent time management
• Excellent customer care skills
• The ability to read, understand and confirm the works and safety instructions
• The ability to complete pre-installation checks
• The ability to ensure all company Health and Safety rules are adhered to at all times

Job type: Full Time

Hours – Usual working days are Monday to Friday (occasional Saturday as and when required which are paid in addition to the normal working week)

Required licence or certification

· Drivers Licence is essential

· CSCS/CITB H&S Pass
