Overview
We are looking for enthusiastic and adaptable team members to join our café team, working across both kitchen and front-of-house roles. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy a dynamic work environment and take pride in delivering excellent food and service. You'll be involved in preparing quality meals and drinks, ensuring great customer experiences, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and efficiency.
Duties
Kitchen Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of meals, following recipes and portion guidelines.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
- Support cooking tasks such as chopping, mixing, assembling, and heating food.
- Ensure kitchen equipment and workspaces are cleaned and maintained.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages to the team.
Front of House Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly and efficient service to customers, taking orders and handling payments.
- Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks, including coffee and specialty beverages.
- Assist with plating and serving food to customers.
- Keep the service area clean, stocked, and well-presented.
- Answer customer queries regarding menu items, allergens, and special requests.
- Work with the team to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Experience & Skills
- Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential – we welcome those eager to learn.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety is advantageous.
- Experience with customer service, handling transactions, and making drinks is desirable.
- A strong team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: £10.00-£12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
